Idag och i morgon kommer jag (och Fotograf Martin Carlsson) att finnas på Frölunda torg och fotografera den som vill finnas skrattande med på en stor vägg tillsammans med hundratals andra skrattande människor. Till min hjälp så finns det några kända svenska komiker på plats bakom mig som kommer göra allt i sin makt för att få bilden så trovärdig som möjligt. Dessutom får du bilden utskriven och kanske signerad?! :) Gratis! Kom! Om du säger Foveon så fotograferar jag dig med min SD15, i övrigt kommer jag använda Canon. aaaaa

I’m getting slightly nervous because in about three weeks I’ll be one of the speakers at the highly acclaimed photoshop day and I’m there to talk about three layered photography and simple editing – most likely show a different workflow for us that uses external developers. But still I want to make it interesting for the audience. It will be held in Göteborg, Malmö and Stockholm.
Could you guys help me with short simple topics that could help me bring “me” into this day? :D PLEASE! What would you like to know if you were sitting in the audience?
EDIT! First, I want this post to be first so I can get some more input. Thanks for email everyone (you know who you are). Also, today I received my long awaited SD15 (the REAL one) and I’ll start shooting with it from today. First tests shows really nice IQ and a perfectly aligned mirror. (my pre-version was slightly off). I also finally got myself a trigger and will be able to do long exposures. jaij!
A jewelry firm wants me to take photos for their catalog and I’m now deep into finding all kinds of information for jewelry photography and retouching. It will mainly be pictures of rings from above onto a white surface and my own experience you more or less see below so that helps and this time I have a much greater starting point although this guy, the designer is extremely picky – I saw some shots taken by another photographer for him, and really nice shots I might add but he was not satisfied with reflections and colors and of course wants me to perform much better.
So hopefully in the coming days I might be able to show you a thing or two from what I learn – and if you have any good pointers and ideas then please share! :) Both links, text and pictures in the comments field are welcome!

You are hereby invited to join our Chinese wedding ceremony which will be held in a five star hotel in the city of Xia Guan / Dali. A city famous for it’s three pagodas, big lake with beautiful islands, high mountains and delicious food. It’s cheap to stay and lots of touristic stuff to do if that’s your thing. (like going up on a 5500m mountain by cabin or have a closer look at a glacier not too far away). I have DP1s, DP2 and Sigma SD15 with some really cool lenses for you to try as well. :) I can also help you to get located!

For your info I’m currently preparing my Chinese wedding which will be held in a hotel with lots and lots of food (yes, including frog) and some hired talk guy and everything else that comes with the package. VERY different from home I might add. All guests will be treated strong nice rice wine, cigarettes, seeds of different sorts and everyone is expected to have a red envelop containing money when they arrive. Someone will sit and write down what everyone brings so that we know what we will have to give for their next wedding party or whatever. :D
After the party we will most likely go to a KTV bar and treat everyone a fun out evening. KTV is Karaoke bar where you get in to smaller rooms equipped with often very good sound and picture system – in each room you will be about 10 persons with three microphones and a computer with 20000+ songs – every 10th minute staff will come in and check if everything is OK and to see if someone wants any snack or drinks. Cool!
I’m also using my DP1s a lot these days as it’s so small and gives a perfectly wide perspective. Will show shots soon.

And I have sooo many shots to deal with – and a footballs tournament this weekend to play (for fun) – and lots to do before I get married next week. :D So bare with a couple of image free days. Also I know Sigma is preparing the final firmware for SD15 – and I’m not allowed to post RAW shots without using it – so review have to wait.

To keep my PS server at dreamhost cheap I decided to activate wordpress super cache and if anyone has any problems with my site, please add a comment or mail me as this installation was a little bit trickier than I thought and there might be some initial problems. But overall I think that my site will be much faster and also create less load on my little server. :) So, is working? Great?
I installed the super cache thing yesterday but forgot to add some stuff to my .htaccess file – but now it’s done and should work! (So commenting didn’t work yesterday).
AND!!! Thanks to all of you who donated money! I now have more or less one year of server use paid for! THANK YOU!
Alright folks, some of you prefer to use older versions of Sigma Photo Pro, and I might add that I saved 3.3 for my monochrome work as well. And I’m not super friend with new higher ISO-messy-noise reduction so It might be a good idea good to have both versions installed.

Strong, per pixel contrast and colors has damaged my eyesight and possibly even my brain as I have a problem looking at images from other, far superior cameras without satisfactory. And I was told by my lawyers to press charges against the Sigma company as they’re the owner of the Foveon company and should be held accountable for not only me, but anyone who accidentally visited my blog.
I deeply regret having so many dangerous pictures visible. We are talking about making this a group-case. Want to join? In order to make it easier for future cases we now call this Lex-Rytterfalk. It’s not my fault if your sight has been damaged too! Is it?
Also, I just came home from a very busy day. Sold all my current Sigma gear to a store in Göteborg with a big orange warning (Sigma should have done that a long time ago). After signing all items with my name (with a nice golden color) I left the store with around $10000 and I’m now considering getting myself something else, something with one of those blur filters infront of the sensor. Canon? Nikon? What would you recommend?
UPDATE! Today I realized that I was a victim of 1st of April fools day! My silly doctor who told me I had bad eyesight, now says my eyes are just fine! aaa! Never trust your doctors! I went back to the store and got back ALL my gear! :D YES!!
