Sigma DP1x Raw pack I

dp1x rawpack for download

Alright, a little something for those of you that want to try some of those DP1x RAW files out. SDIM0718 is taken in VERY tricky light and you can really see how well the DP1x handles that.

Make sure you use Sigma Photo Pro 4.2 installed. You can experiment with older versions though. :) I do. And OTHER versions. I know that Raw Developer has DP1x support around the corner, and above shots looks great in Lightroom 3.3rc. Silkypix?

If you develop something really nice from above images, please post as comment. :)

    Hi Carl,

    I’ve tried: Silkypix Pro (4.1.41.2) doesn’t support the DP1x

Thanks Carl! The files look great, excellent micro-contrast throughout. I can see an improvement vs. my DP1 files. Here is a quick one, went for a Ilford Delta B&W and a Velvia 50 Color for the conversions. Exported as 16 bit tiff in spp4.2 for mac, additional editing in CS5.

  3. Robert! Thanks for the update! I can’t update my UK version it seams. They don’t have the latest on their website. grrr. But good that I don’t need to. :)

Carl, just got a new (mid 2010) imac 27″ w/ i5 and latest Snow Leopard OS. Tried SPP 4.2 with my DP1 raw files and am seeing limited functionality. White Balance, noise reduction not working, conversion to jpegs and tiffs not working. Do earlier versions of SPP work better on a mac?

  5. Hi Eric. Sounds strange! Should work great. Could you find me on iChat and I could have a quick look? Search for Rytterfalk..
