I haven’t worked much with Sigma Photo Pro (SPP) in a long time, mostly because Silkypix has come out and some recent shoots had to be developed quickly and at those times Lightroom comes in handy. But tonight I gave SPP a chance to show it’s true self – These are developments exported as 16bit tiffs and post processed in Photoshop using Nik Viveza. It’s fair as Lightroom has tools very similar to what’s possible in Viveza.
You find Lightroom 3 beta versions here.

And this one. :)

Hi Carl,
My name is Carmilla from Paris in France.
Your blog is very interesting ans your photos fantastic.
You convinced me to buy a SIGMA DP2. The shots are incredible. Before this purchase, I had only Nikon cameras and I thought they were the best. But Foveon technology is really revolutionnary.
Thank you very much for your photos for your so kind blog.
Carmilla
You’re partially guilty of my dp2 purchase, thank you for that! :)
Do you have any idea would external flash Sigma EF-530 fully working with Sigma DP2 or is there any compatible third-party alternatives? I won’t buy EF-140 DG, because it’s lacking tilting head.
Hi Camilla, thanks for your very kind words! :D Please feel free to post samples of your work or perhaps a link to your images. :)
Well, all guns fires – but none except the EF-140 has full TTL support. So if you use manual mode all guns works. I’ve been running around with my DP1 together with the EF-530 and it’s a mighty cool looking combination. :D Not sure why TTL isn’t supported.
Thanks for a reply! Maybe I’ll try Canon offshoe + EF-140 combination, few forum ppl writes that it still works with TTL, if it doesn’t I’ll put offshoe cable to my Canon gear and live with straight light, at least I save DP2 battery life :) Keep up good work with this blog!
