About Carl Rytterfalk

Welcome to my blog! I'm Carl Rytterfalk, a swedish photographer who loves everything that is interesting in the world of photography. In 2002 I fell in love with the three layered Foveon sensor and has since then been an addicted user of Sigma cameras. Though I use Canon and Nikon as well. :)

why u use dp1 in studio, instead sd14?

Why does Carl use the DP1 in studio, instead of the SD14 ?
My guess is for that focal length the DP1 is difficult to beat and the DP1 has a better processing engine.

I’m happier with what I get from my DP1 straight out of the camera (Raw through SPP auto) than with the SD14.
I’m a complete novice with post processing, & haven’t yet worked out how to easily correct the white balance problems the SD14 gives me.

I suspect Carl loves using the DP1 and enjoys showing the rest of us what it is capable of.

All the best from the UK, Paul.

rock is too gay, but photos are good. I like your inspiring only one softbox + lame hand = you are the winner. Positive, yeah!

Rock is too gay ? All fashions/lifestyles seem to have their detractors. Each to their own.
Presume anonymous is aware of the terms tongue in cheek, sense of humour, having fun & individuality.
Often Punk & rock fans may look a bit cloned, but look a bit closer and they all have their own individual take on the theme.
    Positive, yeah too !
