Btw, We had a great time! :) And the guy helping me with the reflector (best man) he owned an SD14 too - Wow. :D

I’ll be shooting my first wedding with the SD-14 in August.. Seems like you’ve been off pretty well so far!! :D Have you had any significant trouble with the SD-14? Any advice that could be helpful.

    Cheers, Janne

    Hi Janne,

Weddings are generally no problem. In Church can be - have a monopod or tripod close by and make sure that you have shutter speeds that you can work with (use higher ISO if needed) - be wild, think outside the box if possible. If you have different lenses - change back and forth a little now and then - have fun. The big work starts at the computer - selecting and adjusting.

If you have a reflector - use it! Have a friend assist you.
have batteries and CF for at least 750 shots.

Thanks for sharing those. As I am starting to do weddings also, I am curious how weddings are done in other parts of the world, and I like to see different shot types too.

On the reflector- it’s nice you could use the best man for it! ;-)

    Really good pictures as always!

Are you doing the B/W conversion in the camera, SPP or Aperture?

Hi p2d, I’m doing SPP monochrome as good as I can - and then refine that with Viveza inside Aperture (if needed)
