		<description>Charles, The monochrome option is the "real" BW as it collects all info into BW as if there were no layers at all. It's a very cool thing and I've used it plenty in the past. a true black and white film mode so to speak. 

In order to get the "right" feeling you need to play with highlight and shadow   contrast sliders inside SPP. When this is done you bring it inside photoshop and add some vignetting and maybe some extra contrast. (brightness/contrast)
