Works great! :D Perfect lens protector too. Just the metal plate needed looks cool enough to have on full time.

Hey Carl, you’re really struggling to cope with such a small camera, you just can’t resist adding things on to it ;-).
A nice big Metz flashgun next ??
DP1 stock seems to be coming through to the UK, but I’ve just invested in a 21MM F3.2 for my Pentax Istds, so my DP1 desires are on hold for a while. The results won’t be as good as DP1 but it will be easier to charge the batteries in Nepal.
Love your site & your positive attitude. I’m learning more than just photography from you !
Best wishes, Paul.
How did you do that?
I am still waiting for the next shipment of DP1 on April 11th.
Cant wait.
Thanks Paul, I’m sure you will be happy with your tool. Just make the very best out of it and you’ll be rewarded I’m sure. I hope you stay around even if you don’t have a DP1. :)
Hi John,
First you need the optional hood. As you see on my video I show you that there is a screw mount possible at 46mm - Cokin don’t go that far - their smallest attachment is 49mm so I ordered a 46 - 49mm converter and with that on I bought the Cokin 49mm plate (that you see on the smaller image) and with that one attached you attache the filter mounter thingi. :D
maaan so many parts that needs a word. I have no clue what all these parts are called. But you get the point I guess.
Hi Carl,
thanks for this tip, brilliant! I would like to get this for my DP1 for landscapes… I couldn’t find your video explaining the screw mount?
Kind Regards
Brian
