Great, is there any plugin for canon to previev RAW on leo like this?
An undocumented feature of the latest X3F.qlgenerator is that the use of dcraw to extract the thumbnails does mean that other RAW formats could be easily added. The command is constructed as::
dcraw -e -c SOURCE_IMAGE > TEMPORARY_DIRECTORY/TMP_FILE.jpg
So if the source RAW image can have a thumbnail extracted, then a slight modification to X3F.qlgenerator/Contents/Info.plist should allow it to work for quicklook previews.
Would it be possible to do this for “normal” people without the use of code? Like, right click the image and select “extract JPEG” That would be very cool!
Wow very nice! So those pictures really come out round. Looking at your lighting maybe I should invest in a TTL flash. You have a very good understanding of light.
and…
I can’t believe how cool looking Leopard is.
Carl, did you use your knee to steer the car for the 2 secs?
You should be able to bind that dcraw command to a right click. I need to brush up on my Linux…
