Excet 29/12 | Aveny.se

My first satuday and my second time at this very club. It was not as crowded as last time. I start to become good friend with the Sigma 500DG flash. Together with Sigma 30mm @ F1.6 we’re a great team.

About Carl Rytterfalk

Welcome to my blog! I'm Carl Rytterfalk, a swedish photographer who loves everything that is interesting in the world of photography. In 2002 I fell in love with the three layered Foveon sensor and has since then been an addicted user of Sigma cameras. Though I use Canon and Nikon as well. :)

I remember I was told to stop a lens down. You do, so you must be a real photographer! Instead using full aperture at f1.4 you had chosen f1.6 to be on the safe side, although I was told to stop down to f8, always. How big is the difference between f1.4 and f1.6 and why are the girls loughing?

  2. yeah, you can’t call 1.4 to 1.6 to stop e lens down. hehe. It’s still pretty much wide open. The 30 has an enormous sharpness in the center (pretty big center) and for this kind of shots it’s where eye lashes mostly are.

These people are laughing because .. not sure.. I smile?
