Not sure if this will create problems. It might. Moving from one.com to dreamhost.com.

did it happen already, Carl?
No problems seen here, then, in that case.
Regards,
Clive
Well, only one, seen after posting. The Google ads look a little oddly placed vs. the comments, that’s all.
Best again…
hehe.. yeah, these ads. mm.. I’m still investigating if there is any better solution. It gives me the money I need to pay for space.
The move isn’t finalized yet. I’m afraid that the new place will be fast from America and slow from here. :(
Carl, can’t you just use those ‘normal’ 480 banners in between posts? I think that would look already much and much better.Good luck with your transitioning! Btw, know that the most current version of Wordpress has now an easy import/export option. But be sure to use it in Firefox, else you will just see an RSS page in Safari. Best solution is always to just make a database dump and import it in the DB at the new location. But the new soultion works great too. Have fun with it :)
What’s the reason for the move? Not satisfied with one?
One.com is first of all slow, second it’s very little space provided. I had 2GB and paid 550sek / year. Now I paid less than 700sek for two years and 200GB that I get an additional GB each week AND that speed is much higher, about 2-6 times depending on where you live. 90kb - 250kb / person now and one.com gave most customers 40kb / s.
:) So, less money, higher speed and lots of more space!
