Today I went together with the Finnish artist Otto to Hammarkullen – Purpose, to find out what type of questions you should have for a “svenskhetstest” swedishness test. I filmed and took photos. We had a great time and we’ll continue tomorrow but tonight I wanna show you some shots. click to bigger.

Ah, Lärjedalen har sin charm. Känner mig riktigt hemma efter att ha jobbat i området i snart ett år.
on the GPS it was “Hammarkullenstorg” or something like that. Is it Lärjedalen too? It’s really cool place, I’d really like to live there. Reminds me of my time in Malmö. :)
Once again, great pictures, which feel like a beginning on some long something…
Liked the mini-collage of these on your website. Maybe a way of using more shots, while controlling the field of expression to fit the needs, by how you vary them.
Interests me, Carl. Now I go out for my own variations.
Best to the two of you,
Clive
thanks Clive! It’s hard to make selections, it’s a form of art in it self – the most fun and difficult one. From 90 to 16 is hard to go. I’m surprised I only took 90 images. hmm
Thanks a lot for your comment.
i have never been good at photographing people, do you ask first? or just take the photo then ask?
it’s a mix. Sometimes I ask first but often not with a question, rather with eye contact and showing him what I wanna do. Best is if person don’t see me and I can take anyways. But pretty rare to get good shots that way.
Sköna bilder! Önskar att jag kunde våga mig på något liknande men jag brukar banga ur nästan samtidigt jag tänker tanken.
Hey. I know you probably hate questions like that (I do) but what lens did you use that gave you that wondefull DOF? I haven’t been able to achieve it with small sensor of sigma…
wonderful shots. keep staring at them envying :-))
hehe, I don’t hate that question at all! :D It’s the wonderful Sigma 30mm 1.4 EX. I think most of these images are shot at F1.8 – 2.2
