Download RAW pack 3 now.
I just bought a screencast software named iShowU – very small and cool. Makes screen movies in real time in whatever file format you want. Cool! The Lightroom movie you see is made with it.
Software recommended: Sigma Photo Pro, Adobe camera raw 4.1 or Lightroom 1.1
Sehr gut. :-)..
Lightroom is my next purchase.
Very nice video!!
Love all your work..
toasterflyer on dpreview.
take care and have fun

Hi Carl
I take it you are manipulating x3f files here in lightroom. If so, do you have any tips on maximising peformance? My machine is no slouch but it would never run as smooth as this video suggests. Are you using a pretty powerful machine or am I doing something wrond with my raws?
Cheers
Mike

Intressant och informativt hur man bearbetar bilder. Kan nog bli till praktisk nytta för många. Uppspelningen kanske gick lite fort.

Mike! My NEW system is very very fast compared to anything I worked with before. See this post for info on everything. http://www.rytterfalk.com/2007/07/28/building-new-workstation/
Remember that not only is Lightroom fast on the video it’s dumping everything I do in REAL time to the hard drive as a HD quality movie that I later convert to Flash (using flash converter CS3). :D
If you look carefully (or with open eyes) you can clearly see one bug that Lightroom still has (even if it’s almost gone) The fly picture is half correct half missing something. :/ I tried to get rid of the effect by pressing “auto tone” but didn’t help so I quickly moved on to the next picture.
Bengt: Thanks. It’s not really educative yet. When I have Mic input working on my computer I will make video that you can learn from.
Thanks!
Hi Carl, looks like a great video, but I did not get any sound. Is it with sound? I get sound on other videofiles, not this one. I’m using Lightroom 1.1 and I think I’m liking it better the more I use it. Thanks for your effort showing us how you use it.
Halldor
Hi Halldor! Nice of you to stop by! :D And yes, there is no sound. My hackintosh still don’t have a mic input – need to do something unix – kext like thingi to make mic work.
When I have Mic I will do more videos – slower. :D
