aahh.. maybe I should switch to another one?! Do you think it’s that bad? Or I can also do as I did in your case. Delete that duplicate. Not sure if this is a common problem. :)

Carl, ‘code’ is what we have to enter to make our comment succeed.

The so-called CAPTCHA thingie.

If you mis-enter then you are asked to try again - but your comment shows blank then.

Then we are confused. Enter the new ‘code’ now showing? Will we lose our comment which has now gone blank? Etc..

If we trick the browser and go back to copy our comment, then must change it a bit when we re-enter, or the blog says it’s a duplicate. This is a clue that the original comment actually exists although it did not show.

As you saw, re-entering the copied text and changing it a bit, followed by correctly typing the code, gets both old and new.

I guess it should work smoother ;) when we mis-type the code. That’s the thought. Hope it helps you or your web-brother.

Anyway, nice wishes up there in the ‘zone’…

Well, it was really a very family occasion, wasn’t it.
