It seems that the 2407 has lots of problems :( From what I read the NEC is very close to the Eizo's in screen quality. And very easy to achieve good results with calibaration. Should be available for prices around 850 euros. But I do admit that the extra screen real estate of a 24" is tempting :) Is the 2405 still available? It seems that the 2407 has lots of problems :(

I calibrate it with Monaco Optix and the result is wonderful. It is necessary to set dawn the brightness at the minimum. The size is very comfortable, very hard to return to smallest! Resolution, tones, quality of the black tints, deepth,contrast, quality of fabrication,of are very impressive. A great tool for the price.
