Now, I just have to write down some of the names that my chinese friends have. I will not write down there chinese names but their English version that they often found in movies or dictionaries. \
\
These names are used as “main” names, first names. They never have a last name so think of this name as what I should call them when i speak to them and refer to them. Just some of the little more funny ones:\

We’re now on vacation in the beautiful county of Dali. A small county with approximately 3.5 million people. The capital City is named Dali too and is a smaller town with about 500 000 inhabitants. (as big as the second biggest city in sweden.. haha) Linn is born here so we visit her family and friends. \
\
Dali is famous for it’s many spiders (especially jumping ones), pagodas, tea flowers, waterfalls, snow mountains, earthquakes and strong wind. They also have a Ancient City which have roots before Tang dynasty.\

I’ll be back. :) I’m going to Dali to celebrate my Linn’s grandmother 80th birthday and to visit her family. Important bussiness. \

With me: Linn, 70-200, 12-24, 24-60 and my SD10 just in case. :)\

\
A couple of days after coming back from my trip I had a photo session with a piano player. Some of the resulting photos are now available as a slideshow and as full sized downloadable pictures from Flickr. Please use with care. They’re copyrighted. Click the image below to jump directly to the slideshow, from there you can also see them as you like. \
\
Enjoy - and I will upload images from my trip soon. :) They’re sooo many. Takes time and energy to find the best ones.. \
\
A little late with my show from my trip, but it’s coming.. :) Much to do!\
\
And fixing my photos as I write. It’s been a hectic week to say at least, and about 4000 images to go throu. It was way more than I thought I would take, but also a lot of “safety shots”. \
\
Will give you something to look at later today or tomorrow.\
\
Gone for a week\
\
Photo trip with a group of advertising film makers to south of China. Will be very interesting indeed.. I’ll be back!\
\
The photo that has nothing to do with anything else than just being a photo, is taken in my daylight studio with my Sigma SD10 and my 105mm lens. I think. If not I’ll update this info a bit later. Until then, check out the exif info. :D And, this photo is uploaded from the studios’ PC, without any modifications of any sort. A clean dump from SPP. (Sigmas RAW image converter) \
\
Good night. PS. There is some new photos on my flickr account in “full” quality. Well, as full as it gets with JPEG 10 quality.\

New toy..
Well, a shot of anyway.. :) It’s a true beauty, here represented with blue channel in black and white. It somehow added the heavy feeling that this beast possesses. I love it! I’d like a future camera, maybe a bit smaller, with a Foveon sensor (three layer sensor) and with 35mm lenses but with the same type of viewfinder (very big, with magnifier). :) AND with capability to take HD video directly to 2.5″ exchangeable HD. jaij! If it was a Sigma, it would make me even more happier! \
\
Camera: SD10, lens: Sigma 50mm EX. | Two soft boxed flashes from each side, magenta background.\

This guy is one of the owners of the studio that I talked about before. Funny guy. He has a half year old Mamiya RB67proSD that he love to show, and I can lend whenever.. It’s a true beauty! I’m going to shoot it side by side with my Sigma in the studio and when ready I’ll give you some images..
He thinks that my images looks very much like what his Mamiya gives. I have no doubt. :)
